Ruta  Kaladyte  Lokominiene,   MD,   PhD, is an  assistant professor at  Vilnius   University  (Lithuania) and neurologist   in  the   Center   of  Neurology  at   the   Vilnius   University Hospital Santaros Clinics (VUHSC), director of the Coordination Center of Parkinson’s Disease and other Movement Disorders (VUHSC);  coordinator for neurology in Rare Diseases Diagnostics, Treatment and Monitoring Coordination Center (VUHSC) and National Center of Huntington’s Disease and other choreas (member of European Reference Network of Rare Neurological Diseases); head of Vilnius Neurological Society, representative of Lithuania at European Board and Section of Neurology in UEMS and Movement   Disorders and Neurogenetics scientific panels   of   European Academy of Neurology, member of World Federation of Neurology and Movement Disorders Society. Fields of scientific interest – Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s   disease, cognitive disorders, neurology of pregnancy, art therapy in neurology. Award of Lithuanian Research Council for   the   project   “Evaluation   of   the   use of new   clinical, radiological   and   neurophysiological   tools   for   early   diagnosis   of   Parkinson‘s disease“(2011).
