Natasa Giedraitiene is a neurologist at the Centre of Neurology at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos in Lithuania. Dr. Giedraitiene received her MD from Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine and completed her residency and PhD in neurology there. She has extensive training and experience in treating Multiple Sclerosis patients. Dr. Giedraitiene is a member of a number of leading neurology societies. Her areas of interest, in addition to the practice of Clinical Neurology, are university teaching and public education. Her scientific area of interest is Multiple Sclerosis and other demyelinating disorders, focusing on the cognition, disease modifying treatment and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for multiple sclerosis. In addition to Multiple Sclerosis, Dr. Giedraitiene specializes in research and care of patients with autoimmune encephalitis. Her most recent research has focused on the cognition during Multiple Sclerosis relapses and transplantation. In addition to her own research, Dr. Giedraitiene is currently involved in clinical trials to study new treatments in Multiple Sclerosis.
