Christina Kruuse

Christina Kruuse, PhD, DMSc, is Professor of Neurology at University of Copenhagen, Head of the stroke Unit and the Neurovascular Research Unit at Herlev Gentofte Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark. Her team has special focus on cerebral small vessel disease and translational stroke research addressing stroke pathophysiology, cerebrovascular reactivity, stroke secondary prevention and rehabilitation in national and international collaborations.  She became President of the Nordic Stroke Society in 2019, is vice chair of the Danish Stroke Society, member of the Trial Network Committee in European Stroke Organization and fellow of the European Stroke Organization (FESO). Christina is also part of the Womens Initiative for Stroke in Europe (WISE).
